Online fraudster arrested in Hyderabad

The Marketing Intelligence Team of Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad has arrested an online fraudster named Amjed Sohail Ahmed who had cheated a man on the pretext of a government tender notice from the Centre for Development Studies, New Delhi, by posting an advertisement on Tender247.com and in a leading newspaper's Jaipur edition.



Bombay High Court puts up Sahara's Aamby Valley for auction

Three days after a Supreme Court directive, the Bombay High Court on Monday put up the beleaguered Sahara Groups prestigious 'Aamby Valley city in Lonavala for a public auction.The Supreme Court on Thursday had rejected the Sahara Group's proposal to repay the investors till July 2019 terming the proposed plan of payment too long.

NTPC tenders for 35MW of local content solar in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Indian utility NTPC has invited bids for 35MW of grid-connected solar PV projects across two states, with the requirement to source domestic solar equipment.The tender is for a 20MW project at Simhadri in Andhra Pradesh and a 15MW project at Ramagundam in Telangana.

PWD floats tenders for ITO skywalk

The Public Works Department (PWD) has initiated the tendering process for construction of a skywalk and foot-over-bridge at the ITO intersection, speeding up the Delhi government’s plan to de-congest the area.According to the department, the project will be completed in nine months — starting from the time of construction — at an estimated cost of around ₹44.23 crore.
